United Kingdom ANIMAL rights activists were pelted with eggs from a passing vehicle
during a protest in Barkingside on Sunday.
Placard-waving protesters from Essex Animal Freedom had gathered by
the Great British Circus in Forest Road to campaign against the use of
wild animals in the shows, run by Martin Lacey.
One protester received a cut hand, as eggs were thrown from a vehicle
passing the entrance on the final day of the circus.
