One year later, the forgotten pets of New Orleans remain forgotten, struggling to survive in a land that became foreign to them overnight. Those who have used primitive survival instincts have survived, relying heavily on our F/W stations. Many, unable to adapt, have perished. Even the survivors encountered day to day challenges as houses, which have become havens, crumbled around them. TNR is in place, but we can't keep up with the reproduction rate, as thousands of puppies and kittens are born.
