Operation: Put a Little Love in Your Heart 2011

This week, in honor of the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday on Monday, February 14, 2011, WAR is launching a week of action appropriately entitled Operation: Put a Little Love in Your Heart. Because Valentine's Day is a huge money maker for the carriage horse industry, many of the actions and alerts will concern WAR's campaign against the New York City Carriage Horse trade. All week you will be receiving action alerts and protest notifications about the carriage horses and also about other issues that capture our attention.

Our first e-mail will be delivered shortly and will include the details of our protest schedule for next weekend. This week of action will include new blogs, competitions and games and prizes. We are asking you, our readers, to follow the action alerts and take some time each day for the next seven days to do something positive and loving to impact the lives of animals. Please help us to make this week a powerful reminder that each and every one of us is capable of doing great things to alleviate the suffering and enhance the lives of animals.
